Bud Spencer (born Carlo Pedersoli on 31 October 1929) is an "Italian" actor, filmmaker and former swimmer. He was born in "Santa Lucia" in Napels, Italy.
He is very well known for past roles in action, comedy, wild west and spaghetti westerns films together with his long time filmpartner and friend "Terence Hill".
Growing from a successful swimmer in his youth, he was the first Italian to swim 100m in less than a minute.
He got a degree in law, and has registered several patents.
His most famous films are "They Call Me Trinity"(1971), its sequel "Trinity Is Still My Name"(1972), "My Name Is Nobody"(1973), "Crime Busters"(1976), "Odds And Evens"(1978), "Miami Supercops"(1985) and "Double Trouble"(1984), all filmed with "Terence Hill".
As an individual, his most notable films are, "The Five Man Army"(1969), "Piedone, The Cop"(1973), and "Banana Joe"(1982).
He is a long time friend and partner of fellow actor and comedian "Terence Hill".
